  • Eleven Israeli hostages were released Monday evening, November 27, by Hamas. All have dual nationality, three are French. Eight of these hostages are minors, the youngest, twin sisters, are 3 years old.
  • Emmanuel Macron said he was “extremely happy” after the release of the three young Franco-Israeli, Eitan Yahalomi, 12, Sahar Calderon, 16, and Erez Calderon, 12. The father of these last two “ remains in the hands of Hamas”lamented Me Patrick Klugman, the Calderon family lawyer.
  • Israel announced early Tuesday the release of 33 Palestinian prisoners. The prime minister also approved a list of 50 Palestinian prisoners likely to be released in exchange for new releases of Israeli hostages.
  • Qatar says an agreement “was concluded to extend the two-day humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip.” Hamas confirmed that this pause, scheduled to expire Tuesday morning, would be extended until 6 a.m. Thursday (Paris time). Israel, however, has not confirmed the extension of the truce.
  • Hamas announced “working on a new list of hostages” to be released as part of the extension of the truce.
  • According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, 150 humanitarian aid trucks have entered the northern Gaza Strip since the start of the truce. Earlier he had precise that the aid in the trucks included food, water, baby milk powder and blankets.
  • The French helicopter carrier Diksmuideconfigured to provide hospital support to the wounded in the Gaza Strip, arrived Monday in the Egyptian port of El-Arich, a port source reported to Agence France-Presse, on the fourth day of a truce between Israel and Hamas. According to the same source, the ship includes “two operating theaters” and approximately forty beds.
  • The Israeli president reminded Elon Musk on Monday of “huge role” that the billionaire has to play in the fight against hatred of Jews, during an interview in Israel. Mr. Musk had previously visited, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Kfar Aza, a kibbutz in the south of the country attacked on October 7 by the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas.
