The 12 noon shots: Jean-Luc Reichmann recognizes an error and reinstates a candidate

This Friday, April 15 in the 12 strokes of noon, Jean-Luc Reichmann validated an answer from his midday master, Maël, when it was not quite accurate. But this Saturday, April 16, the host made a decision to correct his mistake.

A response with serious consequences. For several days, a new candidate has taken his place in the chair of the midday master in The 12 strokes of noon on TF1. Already at the head of a kitty of nearly 50,000 euros, Maël chained the successes. And this Friday, April 15, the champion put his title on the line against three new candidates: Margaux, Yoann and Gonzague. During the test of fatal blow, Maël found himself face to face with Margaux to take turns answering questions from Jean-Luc Reichmann. During the game, the host asked the following question to his midday master: “in 1871, by which neighboring country was Alsace annexed? Quickly, the young man replied: “Prussia”. An answer that embarrassed the presenter who, after stopping the stopwatch, wanted to challenge the voice-over: “small question, on my tablet, I have Germany. I’ll ask Zette”. A few seconds later, the latter confirmed that it was a good answer.

Jean-Luc Reichmann makes a big announcement

But this Saturday, April 16, during a new issue of 12 noon shots, the young Margaux, who had faced Maël the day before, was present in the audience. Jean-Luc Reichmann then wanted to make a point. “Yesterday, we spent ten hours on a dispute of 1871 between Prussia and Germany. To be completely honest Mael, you have us stuck. But the team searched for the correct answer and we were days away from 1871.“, he began before turning to Margaux.

“We decided Margaux that we were going to invite you back very quickly, as soon as possible because for us justice prevails”announced the host before asking Zette to provide some clarification on the famous question. “Germany became Germany at the end of January 1871 and even if it was ruled by the King of Prussia, at the time of the annexation it was already Germany! The word Prussia was not adequate and we in haste , we validated”she explained.
