On February 3 in Cenon (Gironde), a teenager – the same age as the victim – repeatedly repelled the assaults of the attacker who was trying to rape her in the middle of the street. The national police and Frédérique Porterie, the public prosecutor of Bordeaux, are launching a wanted notice on Monday to congratulate him for his courage.
By intervening in the face of this particularly violent man, already convicted eleven times (who had just served a sentence of criminal imprisonment pronounced in 2012 for acts of voluntary violence resulting in death), the schoolboy had allowed the young girl attacked to escape. He stayed with the victim while waiting for help, he was no longer present when the Departmental Directorate of Public Security (DDSP) arrived.
