The Toyota RAV4 will integrate, for its future 2023 model year, a new infotainment system, a new instrumentation screen and an enhanced Safety Sense security system.
The Toyota RAV4, one of Toyota’s best-selling and best-selling SUVs in the world, will receive some new features in terms of multimedia, connectivity and safety for its 2023 model year.
The RAV4 Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid will benefit from intersection assistance which detects if the car is about to cross the path of an oncoming vehicle or if there are pedestrians crossing the road towards which the vehicle is heading. heads. The stumbling block of current cars, the 10.5-inch multimedia screen here adopts the Toyota Smart Connect system, which allows connected navigation (such as traffic information, entry into a ZFE or weather alerts). Toyota also integrates wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto connectivity into its RAV4 as standard. The voice assistant also offers a smoother and more natural interaction with commands like “I’m cold”.
To complete the experience, the MyT companion application has been improved with better remote management of openings or air conditioning.
The Toyota RAV4 hybrid (218 hp in traction version and 222 hp with the iAWD transmission) starts at €42,000 while the RAV4 plug-in hybrid (306 hp) has a starting price of €49,450. Production of this new 2023 vintage will begin in the third quarter of 2022.
