Hamburger SV remains on the heels of its local rivals FC St. Pauli in the promotion race of the 2nd Bundesliga. HSV beats 1. FC Magdeburg and moves up to second place in the table behind the leaders from their own city.
Hamburger SV has maintained its home reputation in the 2nd Bundesliga and is now the first pursuer of city rivals and league leaders FC St. Pauli. With a very hard-earned 2-0 (1-0) against 1. FC Magdeburg, who had been equal for a long time, HSV overtook Fortuna Düsseldorf in the rankings and is second again.
