No, it’s not just The Game Awards. Very recent creation since born in 2020, the Pégases reward each year the best productions of French and international video games. Attended by a full house and 165,000 spectators in streaming, the 2022 ceremony was a great success in the presence of the Minister of Culture Roselyne Bachelot and the Secretary of State for Digital Cédric O.
While this previous edition largely celebrated the games death loop And Road 96, who will be the big winners of 2023? The 2,000 professional members of the Academy of Video Game Arts and Techniques selected the winners through a two-round vote in January and February. In the category “Best foreign video game”, the extraordinary Elden Ring, released in March 2022, and which has just crossed the bar of 20 million copies sold, will face God of War Ragnarök.
