What do we think?
"Bussi, we like it, or we don't like it. Personally I love it. Easy to read, I feel very quickly caught up in stories. I like his way of revisiting History, and juggling with historical facts. I like having the impression of leaving friends when I close a book. I like to laugh, cry, be afraid, stress, because if it succeeds in bringing to life so many emotions in a few pages, it "It is good that he turns out to be a genius of the detective novel. Strongly the next one!

Black water lilies

Price: 7.95 in pocket format on Amazon or € 12.99 in kinddle format

Summary :
Everything is an illusion, especially when a set of mirrors multiplies the clues and blurs the tracks. Yet the murders that disturb the tranquility of Giverny, the village dear to Claude Monet, are very real. At the heart of the intrigue, three women: an eleven-year-old girl gifted for painting, a frighteningly attractive teacher and an old woman with owl eyes who sees and knows everything. And then, of course, a devastating passion. All against a backdrop of rumors of lost or stolen paintings, including the famous Black water lilies. Lost or stolen, such are the illusions when past and present merge and that youth and death defy time.
Our opinion :
"It is by far my favorite. Michel Bussi is an expert in suspense, but there he has outdone himself. The intrigue is fascinating, the characters endearing, and the historical aspect (everything takes place around the Monet's house) makes the story even more real. My favorite moment: the upheaval at the end of the story, which made me want to reread the book right after … that's an understatement! "

From the Parisian district of Butte-aux-Cailles to Dieppe, from Val-de-Marne to the Jurassic slopes of Mont Terrible, the reader is drawn into a breathless race, until the masks fall.
Are coincidences and coincidences only the ricochets of fate?

Our opinion :
"From the beginning of the story, I was caught up in the story. The details and the writing style of Michel Bussi give the impression of being alongside the characters. He takes us from start to finish , and depending on the chapter, we imagine an exit, then another. This story with children upset me personally … Ah yes, little detail, not to read if you are afraid of the plane! "

Thursday November 4, 2015, everything changes. The countdown has begun.

Our opinion :
"Another story of a child, which brings even more its share of emotions. This child wandering throughout the story, I just wanted to take him by the hand and comfort him. I sometimes had to to force myself to remember that it was only a fiction, so much that it was poignant. The end is very debatable, and without telling it, I ask: would I have done like her? "

Etched in the sand

Summary :
It starts with a disembarkation, and then you are taken by boat … June 44. Private Lucky fell on a Normandy beach. Twenty years later his fiancée learns the crazy arrangement made a few hours before the carnage. And will do everything to finally reveal the truth. From the beaches of Normandy to the United States, Michel Bussi awakens the demons of the past so that a pact is honored.

Our opinion :
"What I liked a lot in this one, as in many of Bussi's books, is the historical parallel. We are experiencing the landing with the soldiers, which makes the story fascinating. We are witnessing the reconstruction of society, little by little (and not in two lines like in history books). I never thought about what people could have experienced. And the story of the woman who awaits the return of her man after the war, obviously there were a lot … It's sad "
