The A770 and A750 GPUs soon to compete against Nvidia and AMD?

Intel wants to continue its offensive on the GPU side to compete directly with Nvidia and AMD. And two new models should arrive soon.

PC Games Hardware and Digital Foundry had the opportunity to interview two big names from Intel, namely Tom Petersen and Ryan Shrout, heads of marketing at Intel. A good opportunity to learn a little more about the products to come.

Intel’s A770 and A750 GPUs on the way?

Tom Petersen therefore confirmed during the video that the A770 Limited Edition will be available on the company’s website and that custom models of the A770 and A750 will also be available. As with the Arc A380, the launch will initially only be in certain countries. We already know that for Europe, Germany is in the lot but for France it’s a whole different story.

In terms of performance, Intel often compares its two cards with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060. According to internal tests, Arc A770 performs better than the green card on games with ray tracing and in 1080p definition. According to Petersen, the card would even be at the level of an RTX 3060 Ti. It remains to be seen what it really is in an independent benchmark. It should also be more powerful and faster than the AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT.

This upcoming arrival of new Intel cards in the entry-level segment will in any case not hurt the market, which has been based solely on an AMD/Nvidia fight for… always?
