Communication around Dragon’s Dogma 2
intensifies from month to month, even going so far as to dedicate a showcase to it. The latter, which was to be used to reveal its release date, was taken by surprise by Capcom. The wait must have been too difficult for the publisher, who updated the Steam page of
Dragon’s Dogma 2 to display the publication date as March 22, 2024. An error which spoils the surprise a little a few hours before its announcement.
Even if nothing assured it, we suspected that this showcase would end with a date for the game. Since the start of the year, communication has only accelerated around
Dragon’s Dogma 2. We could therefore hope for a release for the winter. Finally, you will have to wait until the beginning of spring to get your hands on it. And one thing is certain, if the result lives up to what we were able to try, the title promises to be a big hit for the start of the year.
In the end, even if Capcom ruined the surprise a bit, tonight’s showcase has other things to show us. These are 15 minutes which are devoted to Dragon’s Dogma 2, and there was no question of dwelling on the March release all this time. We will therefore focus on the gameplay in the presence of Hideaki Itsuno and Yoshiaki Hirabayashi. Let’s just hope that we’ll leave the companions aside a little this time.
