The alarm

I feel weird. I feel light, a little tired. I don't know what day it is. I don't know where I am. I had never been there before. I am in the middle of a large expanse of tall grass. It's pretty. There are beautiful flowers all around me, of all colors. I realize that there is a mountain in the distance. I decide to go there. Got this feeling that I must go, that something is waiting for me at the top of
this mountain. A force attracts me. I start to walk. My fingers caressing the grass. This little fresh air that crosses my whole body. This sun that burns my skin. The song of the birds that rocks me. I am in harmony with nature. My breathing which adapts to each of my steps. My pace is accelerating more and more. My breathing starts to hitch. I arrive at the foot of the mountain. And without understanding what is going on, everything becomes obscure. The sky changes from a piercing blue to an impenetrable gray. My hair is standing on end. The wind has picked up. I'm cold, I'm shaking. But I decide to continue. To follow this path that is emerging in front of me because it is necessary. I can feel it I have to keep walking, not to stop. I'm getting colder and colder. I no longer feel my feet but I move forward. One step after another, I feel that I have arrived soon. I see a ray of sunlight in the distance. Without understanding what is happening, my legs start to run. My heart is racing. My body temperature is rising. The cold is leaving me little by little. I take a deep breath, I close my eyes. It's pitch black. I hear voices in the distance.
I breathe out and open my eyes. I am lying on a bed. Wires connect me to machines. A person in a white coat looks at me and announces: "Welcome back among us". I finally woke up.
