The Alters rear their heads in a teaser

Unveiled at Summer Game Fest 2022, The Alters gives its news through a brand new teaser. If the game from 11 bit studios has no set release date yet, it is already confirmed that it will be available on PC via Steam.

The Alters tells us the story of Jan Dolski, an ordinary man, a simple worker, who will see his life change dramatically. Following a space mission that goes wrong, Jan finds himself stuck and above all alone, on a distant planet. In an attempt to survive, he will then make a disconcerting and not without consequence decision. Create alternate versions of himself, the Quirks, in hopes of getting the help needed to return home safe and sound.

Each Quirk corresponds to a different branch of Jan’s life. Thus, despite their strictly identical DNA, each has developed its own characteristics and motivations. Alternate versions that didn’t make the same life choices and therefore didn’t all make the same mistakes. To get by in the midst of these multiple personalities, it will then be necessary to know how to deal with the strengths and weaknesses of each alter. But be careful, because each decision could influence your whole life.
