A launch in several stages
Like OnePlus, Xiaomi could spread the launch of its new smartphones throughout the year 2022. The launch of next December 28 only concerns China, and would be reserved for the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro, which are illustrated for the first time on the invitation card of the event.
We thus discover two Xiaomi smartphones with less rounded edges than usual, as well as a central punch on the screen (it was housed on the left side on the Mi 11).
Side characteristics, it is understood that these new models will embed the SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen1 recently presented by Qualcomm. There are also rumors of a 200 megapixel photo sensor, as well as a charging power capped at 100 W (which is a little less than the Xiaomi 11T Pro).
