the announcement that all fans have been waiting for is here!

water trailer for Star Wars Outlaws is finally available. This is an opportunity to learn a little more about the story and the characters, with a wonderful surprise.

The next big Star Wars game is undoubtedly Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws. After months and months of waiting, we finally have a release date to get our teeth into. Everything arrives in a new trailer which is, on top of that, very rich in information on the characters and the lore. Fans will love it, as the game seems to be full of details and nods to the entire saga.

A release date and information galore for Star Wars Outlaws

No need to keep the suspense any longer, the game is scheduled for August 30, 2024. This is very good news, because there is ultimately not much time left to wait to visit the galaxy. And at this level, precisely, the new Star Wars Outlaws video is rich in information. We can admire several planets with very different biomes, including: Canto Bight, Kijimi, Akiva and the windswept savannah of Toshara, but also the return of the famous and much appreciated Tatooine.

This will also allow you to visit two emblematic places from the saga: Jabba’s palace, which we discovered for the first time in Return of the Jedi, with a return with great fanfare in the series The Book of Boba Fett. And we can also admire the Great Pit of Carkoon, into which Boba Fett himself falls. This time, it’s the heroine of Star Wars Outlaws, Kay Vess, who finds herself in a bad position against the Sarlacc. It remains to be seen if she too will find herself stuck in his “stomach”.

A tradition that does not change

Obviously, with Tatooine in the spotlight, the game visibly leaves a good place for Jabba the Hutt as an antagonist. Fans should therefore not be disoriented. A big villain of the game is also presented and it is obviously the gangster Sliro who is trying to kill you. In essence, this new trailer explains that the goal of the game Star Wars Outlaws will be to steal part of his fortune while escaping his clutches as well as imperial tyranny. The trailer is also full of winks, notably to the point of seeing a certain Han Solo appear… We won’t tell you any more. And lets you admire it all. For the rest we can admire cult weapons from the saga but also many vehicles. Enough to totally charm fans of the world of George Lucas.

For the rest, in terms of gameplay, in addition to the exploration phases on foot or in a speeder, the game also seems to have inherited certain running/parkour phases which seem to have been inspired by the Assassin’s Creed saga, the other very big license from Ubisoft. It remains to be seen how all this will fit together within Star Wars Outlaws, which remember is scheduled for August 30, 2024 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC. The game is available for pre-order now and Ubisoft is even offering two surprises to buyers: the Kessel Runner bonus, which appears to include a speeder and a spaceship.
