The Apple Vision Pro headset will finally arrive in France: what you need to know

You’ve probably heard of Apple’s augmented reality headset, the Vision Pro, which appeared in the United States earlier this year. Good news for fans of the apple brand in France: the Vision Pro should soon arrive in France, as well as in other countries.

According to information from Mark Gurman on Bloomberga technology journalist known for his reliable sources, Apple is preparing to market its Vision Pro headset in France, but also in Germany, Japan, Australia, South Korea, Singapore and China. The launch date will be right after WWDC, mid-June.

Tim Cook, Apple CEO, had already announced that the Vision Pro would arrive in China in 2024.

To prepare for this expanded launch, Apple has organized training sessions for its sellers in recent weeks.

It must be said that selling an augmented reality headset is not an easy task: it is essential to provide demonstrations to potential buyers to show them the product’s functionalities. These training sessions lasted approximately 20 minutes and focused on the features and possible uses of the Vision Pro.

Reviving demand for Vision Pro

The launch of the Vision Pro in the US was met with a lot of excitement, but demand has since dropped off a bit. Apple therefore hopes to revive interest in its augmented reality headset by making it available in other countries.

By offering the Vision Pro to a wider audience, the Apple brand could attract new fans and boost its sales.

A second version of visionOS on the way

In addition to this expanded launch, Apple also announced that a second version of its augmented reality operating system, visionOS, would be presented at WWDC, Apple’s annual developer conference, next June.

However, you shouldn’t expect a new headset model anytime soon. According to Mark Gurman, Apple does not plan to offer a successor to the Vision Pro before the end of 2026.
