The Art of Crime on France 2: will there be a season 7?

Monday, December 19, France 2 broadcasts the second and final investigation of season 6 of “The Art of Crime”. But will the series be back in 2023 for a seventh round of episodes?

This Monday, December 19, 2022, it is (already) the end of season 6 of The Art of Crime on France 2, from 9:10 p.m. After the broadcast of a first investigation last week, a second investigation will close the adventures of Antoine Verlay and Florence Chassagne.

End of season for “The Art of Crime”

As a reminder, this one is a brilliant cop but uneducated in art, while this one is a talented and whimsical art historian. In this part, both are confronted with the universe of an immense artist: Edvard Munch, whose works echo more than ever the ambiguous relationship between our duo.

Here, deep in the catacombs of Paris, a young woman disguised as a vampire is found murdered, lying in a coffin, a stake driven into her heart. Near the corpse thus staged, there is a reproduction of the painting “Vampire”, by the Norwegian painter.

Antoine and Florence decide to investigate within the theater group in which the victim, who was an actress, played. But, for the duo, it’s increasingly difficult to work effectively when feelings get involved…

“The Art of Crime” season 7, here we go!

In the credits, fans will of course find Nicolas Gob and Eléonore Bernheim in the skin of the emblematic duo of fiction, but also Philippe Duclos, Benjamin Egner or even Salomé Partouche. Florent Peyre and Alban Casterman play the guests in this episode.

But while waiting to watch the end of this sixth season, a question is already burning the lips of the faithful of the series: Will The Art of Crime be back in season 7? The answer is yes !

As France 2 confirmed to AlloCiné, this next salvo is currently being written. Two new episodes will be shot in 2023. Very good news for next year.
