The love journey in Mexico begins! In the 13th season of “Der Bachelor”, 23 single ladies want to wrap Germany’s most popular bachelors around their fingers – and show that they have real dream woman qualities. Who sparks when they meet for the first time? And who has to start the journey home after the first night of roses?
You should know this about the new Bachelor:
David is half-American, was born in Stuttgart and trained as an insurance salesman. He is now self-employed as a model and content creator and has turned his hobby into a career.
Three women have always had a permanent place in his life: his mother, his older sister and his twin sister. He grew up with them and they shaped him: “Everything that defines me today I owe to these three women,” he says. “Maybe that’s why I’m a bit more sensitive and empathetic than other men.” Another woman is missing – the ONE. After four relationships and now three years as a single, David is more than ready for this: “I’ve gotten to a point now where I say: ‘Hey, there’s room by my side!’ I finally want to get to know the right person with whom I can also tackle the topic of family planning.”
Such should be the woman who can win David’s heart:
A woman he could imagine doing this with should be empathetic and self-reflective, just like David himself. “She should know what she wants in life.” An absolute couch potato could have a hard time with the fitness fan and 1.86m tall muscle man: “For me, sport also has something to do with self-love. You show your own body a bit of gratitude with it.” However, non-stop exercise is not necessary: ”It’s nice when you share interests. But love also means that both in a partnership still have space to pursue the things that fulfill them. That way you can learn from each other and get to know yourself anew .”
This is what David expects from his love journey:
In addition to the hope of great love, David firmly assumes that as a bachelor he will also discover new sides of himself: “I will certainly feel emotions that I have never experienced before and that will bring me to points where I hasn’t been in my life before. I think I’ll get to know myself in a whole new way on many levels and I’m open to new insights.” The women who compete for David’s heart on the love journey should also be open: “It’s important to me that the women tell me a lot about themselves. I also hope that they’re there to fall in love – and have no other intentions. It’s perfectly legitimate for someone to want more reach, but please not at the expense of my feelings.”
Incidentally, David has never used a dating app – instead he plunges straight into the blind date of his life.
