"The Bachelor" prefers not to mess with Bayern Munich. That's why the start of the season on TV has now been postponed by a week.

The new episodes with bachelor Niko Griesert (30) and the 22 women who want to turn his head in it comes a little later on television.

"Dear Bachelor friends, we have important information on our own behalf," it says on Instagram: "So that the football fans don't miss the Bachelor's start, we decided to take Niko on the journey to love one week later At RTL, the new season starts on January 20, 2021 at 8:15 pm. If you can't wait until then, you can watch the first episode 7 days in advance on @ tvnow.de. So that all "Bayern fans can relax and watch the first episode", the TV start is postponing, explains Niko Griesert himself in a short video. The DFB Cup game between Holstein Kiel and FC Bayern Munich will take place on January 13th.

Shot in Germany

For the first time, the love affair is not taking place in the USA, South Africa or Mexico, but in Germany. Due to the corona pandemic, the new bachelor will go on dates with his ladies in this country. "And I'm happy about that," explains Niko Griesert. After all, it shouldn't be a vacation flirt. "We get to know each other here and then live safely here, so I think that's great and I'm looking forward to it all the more. There are so many beautiful places in Germany," says the Bachelor. They could always go away together later.
