From January 20, Niko Griesert wants to find love as a "Bachelor". If his search is unsuccessful, these couples give hope.

As this year's Rosenkavalier, Niko Griesert (30) is looking for happiness in the RTL dome show "The Bachelor" from January 20th. While his predecessor, Sebastian Preuss (30), did not hand over the last rose to any candidate in the final, Andrej Mangold (34) found what he was looking for in 2019. With his chosen one, Jennifer Lange (27), he was happy for almost two years until the separation in November 2020. And the German "Bachelor" universe has produced even more couples …

The last rose, the great happiness?

Mangold and Lange formed the only final pair from ten seasons so far, "The Bachelor", in which love had lasted far beyond the show. For the female counterpart "The Bachelorette", Anna Hofbauer (32), the bachelor from 2014, and her chosen one, Marvin Albrecht (32), were for a long time an absolute dream couple. However, the relationship broke up in 2017.

"Bachelor" Sebastian Pannek (34) gave his last rose to Clea-Lacy Juhn (29) in 2017, their love broke after about a year and a half. But Pannek has meanwhile found happiness with another lady from the “Bachelor” universe. In 2020 he married Angelina Pannek (28), a former Heger. In 2014 she was in the final with Christian Tews (40), but came away empty-handed. In 2016 she was briefly in a relationship with Leonard Freier (35), "The Bachelor" 2016. It has now worked with the third Rosenkavalier. The Panneks became parents in summer 2020, the first "Bachelor" baby saw the light of day.

Jessica Paszka (30) and Johannes Haller (33) are currently proving that the last rose does not have to be decisive for a happy ending. In 2017 the then "Bachelorette" decided in the final against Haller and for his competitor David Friedrich (31). The relationship lasted only a few months. Haller, on the other hand, found ex- "Bachelor" candidate Yeliz Koc (27) a year after the show through "Bachelor in Paradise". They had an on-off relationship until early 2020. In the summer of the same year, Paszka and Haller got closer again. They are now engaged and are expecting their first child together.

In love again in the "Bachelor" universe

Paszka ex David Friedrich has now also found love within the "Bachelor" universe. Since spring 2019 he has been in a relationship with Maxime Herbord (26), who in 2018 was still vying for the favor of Rosenkavalier Daniel Völz (35). Nik Schröder (31), who came third in the "Bachelorette" season in 2017, had a similar experience. Since 2018 the woman at his side has been called Jessi Cooper (26), also known from the "Bachelor" season with Völz. Schröder and Cooper married in September 2019.

Marco Cerullo (32) also wanted to conquer the heart of Jessica Paszka in 2017, but finally found his dream woman in 2019 with the offshoot "Bachelor in Paradise". He fell in love with Christina Grass (32), who vied for Andrej Mangold's roses in 2019. The couple got engaged in early 2020, announced the separation that same year and then surprised in mid-January 2021 with a love comeback.

It's over and over again

Most recently, Alexander Hindersmann (32) and Wioleta Psiuk (28) made their relationship public in June 2020. Hindersmann won "Die Bachelorette" in 2018 and was with Nadine Klein (35) for a short time. After the separation, he became a permanent candidate: He also tried his luck in the "Bachelorette" season in 2019, then he took part in "Bachelor in Paradise". Psiuk was meanwhile to be seen in the "Bachelor" season with Sebastian Preuss. Although she made it to the final, like competitor Diana Kaloev (23), she missed out because he didn't want either of the two women. Hindersmann and Psiuk's relationship lasted three months.

Carina Spack (24) wanted to win "Bachelor" Daniel Völz in 2018, Serkan Yavuz (27) vied for the favor of "Bachelorette" Gerda Lewis (28) in 2019. As fate would have it, the two met and love each other in the fall of 2019 in the second season of "Bachelor in Paradise". In the fall of 2020, they also announced their separation.

Also with the "Bachelor in Paradise" couple Evelyn Burdecki (32, "The Bachelor" 2017) and Domenico de Cicco (37, "The Bachelorette" 2017) as well as Pamela Gil Mata (30, "The Bachelor" 2015) and Philipp Stehler (32, "The Bachelorette" 2015) love was not meant to be forever.

"Prince Charming" is now involved

In 2019, the TV matchmaking exchange was expanded to include a new format: "Prince Charming" is now involved. Nicolas Puschmann (29) started as the first homosexual prince of dreams on the German TV landscape – and found what he was looking for. He fell in love with podcaster Lars Tönsfeuerborn (31) and handed him the last tie. Around a year later, the couple announced their separation in November 2020. The relationship between "Prince Charming" successor Alexander Schäfer (30) and his chosen one, Lauritz Hofmann (28), did not even last beyond the final.

The biggest surprise in the universe of the dome shows in December 2019 was this news: Sam Dylan (29), "Prince Charming" candidate 2019, and Rafi Rachek (31), "The Bachelorette" candidate 2018, are in a relationship. A year earlier, Rachek wanted to win Nadine Klein's heart, and in 2019 he finally came out as homosexual in the offshoot "Bachelor in Paradise".
