In the first "Bachelorette" episode it becomes immediately clear how one can impress Melissa Damilia – and with what not at all.
Starting shot for the new "Bachelorette" season on RTL (also via TVNow): Melissa Damilia (25), known from "Love Island" or "Kampf der Realitystars", is looking for the new "Bachelorette" in Crete great love. The 24-year-old, who is loved by reality fans for her authenticity and has already been ensnared by Pietro Lombardi (28, "phenomenal"), has had many admirers, but has never been very lucky in love. "I often thought that I was not enough," said Melissa tearfully in the preliminary talk. But not anymore. "Now there is a fight for me!"
And it will. When the 20 gentlemen discovered their chosen ones from RTL, they were all excited and nervously straightened their pants. "Aphrodite" with the tattoos has definitely never received so many compliments in one pile. "The absolute jackpot" (Daniel, 24), "I fell in love" (Ioannis, 30), "Holla, the forest fairy" (Alex, 31) … Even the biggest muscle packs and the most self-confident boys get excited – that's how it gets trembled a lot and laughed embarrassed at the first greetings.
Of these first encounters, we will remember, for example, the crazy hairdresser and globetrotter Rouven (31), whom his excitement almost catapulted out of the car. When he finally stands in front of his dream woman, he forgets his name. Acrobat Christian (33) also hits the right note by bringing Melissa a notebook to help her on her love journey. And of course Rampensau barkeeper Emre, who sees himself as the reincarnation of Johnny Depp ("Unfortunately he's just scratching a bit …") and decapitates the champagne right away. Melissa's verdict: "It's already a house number".
Pay special attention to the number seven
Melissa has great hopes for her lucky number seven – and therefore has a very special eye on the seventh man and the seventh car. The unplanned honor of being the seventh is bestowed on the "mountain" Daniel (31). A two meter tall, fully tattooed music manager from Berlin with a big heart and a small daughter. "It wasn't bad," was Melissa's verdict. There are also two candidates in the seventh car, with whom it sparks right from the start: the spiritually inspired wine blogger Daniel (34) and the somewhat shy fitness and health trainer Maurice (25). She is also fascinated by Moritz (31): "I couldn't stop looking into his eyes. As if hypnotized." Hopefully she will look him in the eye a little longer – he has given up his job as a management consultant to be on the show.
But there is also one nasty surprise: Leander. When the 22-year-old managing director gets out of the car, Melissa immediately realizes that the two have a background. Leander is a good friend of her ex-boyfriend. Melissa: "Wow, my life …" At the joint cocktail party in the evening, the two of them quickly seek a conversation – and Leander decides to classify the "good friend" as an "acquaintance" instead of voluntarily leaving.
What impresses Melissa – and what doesn't
While many of the men are busy with their testosterone and "Shaman Daniel" laughs for it, he scores with Melissa with the holy incense Paolo Santo. "I love it. The others make fun of it, but they don't know that I like it," assures Melissa. "I know," said the calm Daniel, who one hopes will be able to stay longer as a reflective observer of the Testo gang. Daniel in the camera room: "It is definitely interesting to feel the energies of all the men. I can only say that there is a lot going on."
And another Daniel made a lasting impression on Melissa: the 24-year-old student from Vienna, who uses funny sayings and a waltz to make her feel good. He also deserves the first yellow rose as a sign of their special interest. What is guaranteed not to progress with Melissa is shown by the self-confident Adriano (35): Macho sayings. In the first conversation he referred to Melissa directly as "fresh meat", but was nevertheless certain: "She will fall in love with her." No it won't. The incredulous Adriano is the first to not receive a rose, whereupon he refuses to say goodbye to Melissa. "No way, where do you live?", So the offended Adriano and rips the microphone from his body when leaving.
