First kiss or just a kiss? A candidate unexpectedly climbs up into the circle of favourites. This provokes the fury of the competition.

Is a “back kiss” a kiss? In episode four of “Bachelorette” (Wednesdays, 8:15 p.m., RTL, in advance at RTL +) is not only highly philosophical. This time, the remaining Herzbuben also get to know the tough side of the single mother: Jennifer Saro (27) sifts out the candidates as vigorously as her son “Keksi” does the grains in the sandbox. One of the gentlemen unexpectedly becomes the top favorite before he jeopardizes Jenny’s sympathies and arouses the anger of the competition.

The “Keksi” aptitude test

It’s halftime and “Bachelorette” Jenny invites Markus (32), Adrian (27), Yannick (30), Oguzhan (27) and Fynn (25) to the animal date on the beach. In tandem with four-legged friends drawn to them, the boys have to prove themselves in the dog course. What matters most to Jenny is how patient and loving she is with her little partners – “Keksi” says hello. Oguzhan’s dog “Lucky” not only proves to be as stubborn as the bartender from Hamburg. He is also in permanent heat, which makes for a lot of hilarity. Co-favorite Fynn emerges as the winner of the agility test because, according to Jenny, he “reacted to his dog the most.”

In subsequent one-on-one interviews, some of the candidates approach the abyss with their statements. Jenny finds Oguzhan’s statements on the subject of jealousy rather off-putting. Adrian also risks his premature farewell with sentences like “My mom says I’m still a child myself”. However, Jenny appreciates the merciless honesty of the likeable single from Würselen and even rewards him with a single date.

“I was always good enough to fuck”

In private, pretty boy Adrian admits that he “was only ever with young girls who gave me the feeling: I’m good enough to fuck. I have more to offer”. Jenny is deeply impressed that Adrian says things to her that he knows “I don’t like”. In the further course of the evening, the two not only look deep into each other’s eyes. Adrian kisses Jenny’s hand emotionally, which she responds to with a kiss on his cheek, a so-called “back kiss”. Jenny is “surprised and happy”: “A date that shows that everything, everything can change.”

Back at the villa, the boys speculate as to whether Adrian and Jenny have kissed for the first time. The question “kiss – yes or no?” he initially answers evasively in the best Thomas de Maizière manner and true to the motto: “Parts of my answer could unsettle you.” Finally he lets himself be carried away to the statement “A kiss fell, it was a very intimate evening.” His boast is said to have serious consequences.

Mild flirting breeze on the high seas

On a “very, very big catamaran” a tour group led by Jenny sets sail the next day for the second group date. On the rocking boat, she asks several wobbly candidates for a one-on-one interview. Oliver (27), who lives in Berlin like Jenny, cannot use his home field advantage again. He thinks it’s a mistake to think about moving in together too early in a relationship. According to Jenny’s taste, however, this question shouldn’t be put off for too long: “Imagine you take two or three years and then realize it doesn’t fit. Then I’ve wasted two years with you.” boom! Jenny seems to feel a similarly mild breeze in terms of attraction with André (30) and David (25). When asked by Jenny about a turning point in his life, André reported awkwardly about “very difficult times” and a hair transplant funded by his parents. David, who wants to know what bothers her about him, answers her: the conversations with him are good, but “the attraction isn’t there yet” – to put it politely.

Full moon party escalates in dispute

The fourth night of the roses under the motto “Fullmoon Party” begins with a voluntary retreat: Yannick says goodbye to Jenny and the troupe. After the conversation with Pedro, who was once again taciturn, Jenny stated dryly: “With some men I know that it wouldn’t work even if we had more time.” And the “Bachelorette” apparently no longer has time from now on.

The rest of the evening is all about the confusion about the supposed “kiss” between Jenny and Adrian. Adrian, who at first sheds tears of happiness over his feelings for Jenny, then attacks Oguzhan in a rage. He had explained to Jenny in front of the assembled team about Adrian’s kiss boast and stated: “A kiss on the cheek is not a kiss.” Jenny is not at all “amused” about Adrian’s lie.

During the fourth award of roses, things are simmering. Surprisingly, the first rose goes to Kaan (26), who announces full-bodiedly: “The lion is now out of the cage and he is free and wild.” Mucki miracle Pedro (31), who definitely felt “saved” before the finale, has to board the plane home, like Oliver.

Kiss cheat Adrian trembles until the end before Jenny hands him the rose. He seems really exhausted from the mix of emotions in this episode: “Today I’ve gone through all the feelings that exist: happiness, sadness, joy, hate – and a little love.” Jenny has a bone to pick with him from now on.
