Maxime has learned from the last few weeks: She seeks a clarifying conversation with Julian and also gives the other men a few opportunities.

Maxime Herbord (26) aims to create more clarity in the fifth episode of “Die Bachelorette” (Wednesdays, 8:15 pm RTL or TVNow). Especially with Julian (27), who is actually her favorite, but has mostly ignored her since the last date, she wants to know what’s going on.

So she pays a surprise visit to the men’s villa, locks up with Julian in the kitchen and addresses the problem. “I like to take my time,” is his explanation. In a conversation with the camera, he puts it much more directly: “I don’t feel anything in a person I’ve only seen three times.” Maxim is no smarter after the “pronunciation”: “I hate playing games.”

It’s good that enough men are available to distract. The Bachelorette brings Dominik (30) and Zico (30) to a paragliding double date. “You didn’t know about my fear of heights, did you?” Said Zico, visibly nervous. “That’s a completely new expression on your face, I don’t even know it!” Says Maxime happily. With one guide each, the three fly over the bay and “Wuhuuu!” As a reward, Maxime surprises Zico with an advance rose by sending an airplane message in the sky.

“Everything is being rearranged in my head right now”

But Dominik is allowed to stay on the single date. There is also the first real kiss of the season. Dominik: “I thought that the day couldn’t get any nicer, but now it really has been a perfect day.” Maxime is also impressed: “Those are really nice moments with Dominik … Everything is being rearranged in my head.”

Is Julian also part of this “restructuring”? When he found out about the kiss, he suddenly didn’t sound that disinterested anymore. After all, in the previous episode, Maxime smacked his lips: “I would like to know why she says to me that it was way too early for her … If Dominik then makes out with her, it doesn’t go with what she told me. “

The next date is like a scavenger hunt for Maxim’s heart. First, the boys from the Bachelorette have to record voice messages that are as interesting as possible, in which only the content counts, the voices are distorted. Tony (30), Kevin (26) and Raphael (23) are then allowed to the next challenge: a love letter for Maxime. Kevin pours a little too much with his poetic streak and loses the round. Tony and Rapha are then allowed to lead the blindfolded bachelorette across the dance floor to “Time after Time”.

Tony is losing his manhood

With Tony, however, that doesn’t work at all, as Maxime quickly realizes: “I just feel that you are uncomfortable.” Not a good sign: “I like that. And I think it’s a shame that he doesn’t think it’s so good.” The date was anything but pleasant for Tony, too, he feels robbed of his masculinity: “I completely lost my balls today.”

Blind dancing works much better with Rapha. Certainly no eggs have fallen off, but he can come back for dinner, cuddle under the blanket with the bachelorette and watch a spectacular fireworks display with a glass of champagne in hand. “What a date!” He says happily afterwards. Maxime was surprised to find out: “I think I noticed that something could possibly develop there.”

Julian and the Lion Song

The night of the roses – and Julian suddenly feels the need to appear on Maxime’s radar again. This time he is the first to kidnap her and tells her that he missed her. Completely new tones! Maxime draws hope and organizes that “The Lion sleeps tonight” will come at the party – the song Julian said he kept running in his head to calm down during the award of roses. Maxime smiles and grins at Julian, who doesn’t understand that this would have been his chance to approach her and just presses around, embarrassed. And Maxime is disappointed again: “That was a blatant gesture from me and I realized that at that moment. You can’t really give more.”

Yes, she can: she gives Julian another rose, in spite of everything. Marcel (35) and Kevin have to go for this. The latter, with his creative ideas, will at least go down in history as the most underrated “Bachelorette” candidate of all time. At the end he has a surprise ready: As when they first met Maxime, he gives Maxime a sheet of paper that has divided into two: “As our paths have come together, they part again.”
