The first date of the Bachelorette was a dream come true for candidate Dario – but she saw it very differently.

There are intense dates – and there are too intense dates: On the beach on the Greek island of Kefalonia, “Die Bachelorette” (July 21, 8:15 pm RTL or TV NOW) Maxime Herbord (26) tries to relax the tense Dario (33) a little . The two quickly come to serious issues: Maxime tells that she lost her grandpa to Corona, Dario remembers how he lost his grandma and announces a very special gift. But there is no relaxation between the two.

Maybe a little adrenaline will help. The date changes from the boring sandy beach to a couch “floating” over the cliffs by a crane. While his feet are dangling, Dario holds and kisses his bachelorette’s hand and tries to establish a connection with her with everything except naturalness. The conversation comes back to the death of the family members, now the tears are flowing and Dario gives Maxime his very special gift: his grandmother’s ring. Maxime doesn’t want to accept him, but he urges her until she finally does.

For him it was “connectedness” – for her it was “uncomfortable”

After the date, she explains to the production manager in tears: “I just didn’t want to tell anyone so early …” While Dario has apparently seen a whole different film: Back at the villa, he raves about his “dream date”. He says to the camera: “On the way home I almost wished I could fall asleep with her tonight, hold her in my arms. Because the date is such a bond … You mustn’t tell her that, it is believe me too much. ” He is right about the latter.

The bachelorette got an inspection a day later. Not only the conversations, but also the touches and approaches were too much, too difficult for her: “Nothing came from me and I’m looking for someone where I feel the need to do something. But that was not the case.” She regrets not having mentioned it straight away, the situation was strange for both of them. “It doesn’t do any good if I don’t tell you when something is uncomfortable …”

Group dates on horseback – and finally some ease

But if you fall off your horse you should get on again right away, right? So Maxime invites Zico (30), Robert (26), Hendrick, Niko (24) and Tony (30) to a group date on horseback. While the others shower her with compliments, policeman Tony prefers to drop a few funny sayings – and get some more private time with her. “He uses the time to talk to me and ask me questions, which I find a little more important than constantly complimenting myself …”, Maxime explains afterwards. “That was perfect. I would not have wished for more, but also not less.”

The next day a group date follows: In the “Bachelorette Talent Show” eight men are allowed to show what they can – or not: Jonathan (25) becomes the moderator, Kenan (35) grabs the juggling cone (35) , Lars (24) presents children’s jokes, Raphael (23) tries his hand at the diabolo, Bene (31) lets a hand puppet speak, Max (31) circles hula hoops and Kevin swings the dance bands: “Now I need my life long to be ashamed of nothing “, so Max afterwards freed.

Julian (27) finally gives the magician: “I would never have thought of myself that I would be ready to do something like that. I think the cape and the top hat helped me a lot.” For his embarrassed performance, he can end the day with a maxim. At the pink sunset, Julian manages to enchant the Bachelorette without any tricks: “There is definitely something interesting, I would like to talk to him more.” In return he gets the advance rose, which saves him from being thrown out on the night of the roses.

The maxim draws consequences – and men no longer understand the world

For others, the Night of the Roses is a nasty surprise. Maxime draws conclusions from her “far too difficult” date with Dario. She gives him back his grandmother’s ring in private, apologizes and explains: “It was all a lot for me. I think it doesn’t fit.” Dario reacts understandingly and leaves the villa without even saying goodbye to the others. So far they only knew the “dream date” version from Dario’s point of view and no longer understand the world: “Dario spoke very, very positively about everything. That they had great conversations and everything … I saw him as THE favorite here! […] How can perceptions diverge so blatantly? “Asks not only Leon (33).

That was not the end of the surprises for this evening: Hendrick announces that he would like to leave voluntarily: “It is so that this format here, to get to know such a woman, is a bit strange for me.” That’s two less – but the Night of the Roses is still not canceled. In addition to Dario, who was surprisingly kicked out, and Hendrick, who voluntarily retired, Robert (26) is also leaving the show.
