Disney + has revealed the launch dates for the "Star Wars" animated series "The Bad Batch" as well as Marvel's "Loki".

Disney + shortens the wait for another season of "The Mandalorian" with new series material: The streaming service has the start dates for the series "Star Wars: The Bad Batch" and Marvel's "Loki" announced. The animation series as the successor to "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" will be available on the streaming service punctually for "Star Wars" day from May 4th. "Loki" will follow on June 11th.

The series "The Bad Batch" is supposed to tie in with the plot of "The Clone Wars". It follows the elite and experimental "Bad Batch" clones first introduced in "The Clone Wars". They are looking for their way into the galaxy immediately after the Clone Wars. Every member of the Bad Batch has an extraordinary ability. In search of a new destination after the Clone Wars, the troops embark on mostly daring mercenary missions to stay afloat.

Comeback for Tom Hiddleston

With "Loki" Tom Hiddlestons (40) Marvel character Loki gets his own series. After the events of "Avengers: Endgame" she has to deal with the so-called Time Variance Authority (TVA), an authority that deals with deviations in the passage of time. Other roles include Owen Wilson (51), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (37) and Sophia Di Martino (37). Before "Loki", Marvel fans can look forward to "The Falcon And The Winter Soldier" (from March 19 on Disney +).
