Series Star Wars: The Bad Batch returns for a long-awaited season 2, of which a new trailer has just been unveiled. These new images notably show a more menacing Palpatine than ever and a very cool Wookie Jedi.
Palpatine announced as a big bad
Decidedly, 2023 will be a great vintage for Star Wars. In addition to the new season of The Mandalorianand the output of the series Ahsoka, The Acolyte and Skeleton Crewthe intergalactic franchise starts the year with a bang with season 2 of The Bad Batch.
This animated series derived from the program The Clone Wars tells the adventures of a group of clones who seceded from the Empire, just after the events of Revenge of the Sith. The Bad Batch opens a little more the thematic horizons of the saga, and deals in particular with the indoctrination and the propagation of fascism, while digging into the mythology of the galactic universe.

After a first season released in May 2021, The Bad Batch has become very popular among fans. And this second act intends to develop its base of aficionados, in particular with the arrival of a Wookie Jedi alongside the commando of clones. The trailer also gives pride of place to Emperor Palpatine, who should face our heroes in this new chapter. A poster was also unveiled.
