The Bad Batch: the final season of the Star Wars series is revealed in a surprising trailer

It’s almost time to say goodbye to the clones of the series Star Wars: The Bad Batch. The third and final season of the animated series arrives on Disney+ from February 21, and the streaming platform has posted a trailer online which gives a glimpse of what awaits fans of the show in these final episodes.

Final fight

Made up of 15 episodes, this final season of The Bad Batch will see the heroes of the series go in search of Omega, who was captured by the Empire at the end of season 2.

According to the season 3 synopsis, “The Bad Batch will undertake a perilous journey to find Omega who faces his own challenges in an isolated Imperial laboratory. While the troop is scattered and threatened from all sides, they will have to find unexpected allies, embark on high-risk missions and gather all their knowledge to free themselves from the Empire.“

A surprising return

The first images from season 3 of The Bad Batch show not only the dangers that Hunter, Wrecker, Echo and company will have to face, but also the surprising return of a character from the universe of Star Wars.

We can indeed see Asajj Ventress and her yellow lightsaber at the end of the trailer. This is a key character in the series. Star Wars: The Clone Warsbut who nevertheless died in the novel Star Wars: Dark Disciple.

The executive producer of The Bad BatchBrad Rau, therefore wanted to reassure the fans: “We love Asajj Ventress. We wanted to tell more stories about him. We don’t want to spoil fans but know that the new stories around Ventress are in line with the events of Star Wars: Dark Disciple.”
