the bank hits hard with a 3% rate for 2023

The waltz of announcements of yield rates continues. This Wednesday, January 17, it is the turn of BNP Paribas to reveal the performance of its fund in euros. A good performance even with a rate excluding bonus 3%.

The banks are announcing one by one the yields served for the year 2023 for their life insurance contracts. The banks are making a nice rise in their rates, like SG (formerly Socit Générale) and its base rate of 2.85% for the flagship Sequoia contract. BNP Paribas does even better and provides a return net of management fees which amounts 3% for all of its contractsexcluding bonuses. Multiple placements 2, Privilege multiple investmentsCardif Elite and AEP Nova Stratgies therefore benefit from the same remuneration.

Bonus rates up to 5%

A rate of 3% from which social security contributions of 17.2% must be deducted. The net remuneration is therefore reduced 2.5%. Even if the yield remains lower than that of the Livret A, BNP Paribas marks the year 2023 with a 1 point increase in its rates compared to its 2022 rates.

In the current unprecedented environment, BNP Paribas Cardif is once again supporting its clients this year to enhance their savings over time and diversification with a 100 basis point increase in the rates served for a return comparable to the Livret A even before taking into account bonuses on payments, explains Fabrice Bagne, deputy general director of BNP Paribas Cardif, responsible for France, in a press release.

In fact, the performance bonuscalculated based on payments made, allow savers to benefit from rates of up to 5%.
