The Batman 2 is finally confirmed. The superhero movie starring Robert Pattinson is officially entering its second installment and the ‘Batman’ actor is back with reinforcements.

- The superhero movie The Batman is officially getting a sequel, this has been confirmed by Warner Bros.
- The “entire team” will return in “The Batman 2”, including Robert Pattinson and director Matt Reeves.
- Nothing is known about the plot, but we can assume that Barry Keoghan will play an important role as the Joker.
Fans have already expected it, now it’s official: “The Batman” is getting a sequel. This has now been officially confirmed by Warner Bros. Of course, Robert Pattinson (“Tenet”) will return as the bat man and director Matt Reeves will also be back in the director’s chair.
US magazine Entertainment Weekly quotes the director as follows: “This is exciting for me. [Es] It’s great to jump back into that world for the next chapter.” Reeves also says he’s a huge fan of the DC character.
Of course, Warner promises the return of Pattinson, Reeves and “the whole team” in the announcement of “The Batman 2”. But who does that mean? Probably first the crew behind the scenes from cinematographer Greig Fraser to composer Michael Giacchino.
But the acting team will also be meant by it. So we can expect Pattinson to return as well as Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, Colin Farrell as Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred and probably Paul Dano as Riddler.
Barry Keoghan (“Eternals”) will also deepen his cameo role as the Joker and take on a larger role in “The Batman 2”. Whether Zoe Kravitz will return as Catwoman remains to be seen. Nothing is known about the plot of the film.
In addition to “The Batman 2”, the series “The Penguin” with Colin Farrell is currently being worked on, which is to come exclusively to the US streaming service HBO Max.
