The best cordless screwdriver from the test laboratory: Bosch leaves Makita, Einhell, Worx and Co. behind

In the cordless screwdriver test, 11 models from the big brands had to face the CHIP test. We evaluated the performance, the ergonomics as well as the equipment and the battery (for details on the test procedure see below). With an overall rating of 1.3 (very good), the Bosch GSR 18V-55 was able to hold its own against the competition. The cordless screwdriver has no real weak points: The Bosch GSR 18V-55 offers 21 torque levels with a measured 32.5 Nm (max. 1st gear) or 9.0 Nm (max. 2nd gear).

The equipment is also impressive, because the screwdriver is supplied with a case and two batteries (2.0 Ah). The Bosch model also offers decent lighting that enables work to be carried out even in poor lighting conditions. The weight, including the battery, is still a pleasant 1.38 kg.

A battery charge can sink 295 screws under load in the test, the charging time is 0:38 hours. Although Bosch does not set the best values with this, you can easily work alternately with the two enclosed batteries.
