The intimate setting of this farmhouse, built in the middle of the vineyards, the conviviality of a small stage, placed between garden and swimming pool, act like a magic formula for many artists sharing the opinion of the late Jacques Higelin: “At the Mas, we welcome the artists like family, and the public like friends. » On the program: Alain Souchon, June 28; Chinese Man, July 3; Caballero & JeanJass, the 5th; Dionysus, 18th; Santa, 24th; Bakermat, 26; Patrice, the 27th; Julian Marley, August 5; Pierre de Maere, the 28th; Selah Sue on the 31st.

Garorok

From June 27 to 30, in Marmande (Lot-et-Garonne)

Launched twenty-six years ago, with a militant stage, between tar and concrete, for the punk and alternative fury, this festival, which returns to the earth and grass of the Filhole plain, could be renamed “Garorap » or “Garalatechno”, as its programming now gives pride of place to hip-hop (PLK, Joysad, Luidji…) and festive electro beats (Calvin Harris, Trackhead, Brutalismus 3000, Paul Kalkbrenner, Becca D, l Swedish House Mafia tube factory…). Groovy pop is also represented (Lala & ce, Julien Granel, L’Impératrice, Charlotte Cardin), while electric guitars try not to be forgotten (Sum 41, The Offspring, Yungblud, Mass Hysteria…).

Europavox Festival

From June 28 to 30, in Clermont-Ferrand

Founded in 2006, the Europavox festival has built its artistic line on the discovery of European pop artists. A bias based on the creation of a network of correspondents involved in the production of concerts and festivals in Italy, Belgium, Austria, Greece, Croatia and Lithuania. Beyond alluring “gondola heads” – Zola, Eddy de Pretto, The Libertines, June 28; Phoenix, Dionysus, The Bean, The Empress, the 29th; Shaka Ponk, Olivia Ruiz, Solann, le 30 –, the Clermont festival remains faithful to this activism, giving pride of place to young shoots from sixteen European countries. To discover, in particular, the Dutch of Pip Blom, the Austrians of Sharktank, Alo Wala, the Spanish of Melenas or the Norwegian Ash Olsen.
