III-Monstrously delicious recipes (don’t panic, it’s edible)

Cocktail with bloody eyes

The quantities are suitable for four people, but do not hesitate to add more if you are more numerous

• 24 lychees in syrup (or more if you want)
• 165 ml grape juice
• 165 ml lychee syrup
• 1 liter of sparkling water (or still or soda)

Drain the lychees and reserve the syrup. Divide the lychees among several glasses and add the grape juice, syrup and sparkling water slowly. Stir with a straw and enjoy!

Aperitif: Radish eye and crushed brain

For this recipe you will need:

• 1 bunch of scooped radish
• 20 pitted black olives
• 250g Greek yogurt
• ½ cucumber
• 1 small clove of garlic
• ½ lemon
• 2 sprigs of mint
• 6 drops of red food coloring
• Salt and pepper

Start by cutting the cucumber in half, remove the seeds with a teaspoon of salt for 30 minutes before rinsing it. Remove the leaves and chop the herbs. Peel and grate the garlic clove. Place the yogurt, cucumber, herbs and garlic in a large bowl. Grate the zest, then collect the lemon juice, then pour everything into the sauce.

Mix, season with pepper for example then add the red food coloring on top. Peel the radishes with a knife so as to retain the root and a few pieces of skin.
Make a hole of about 1.5 to 2cm in diameter at the level of the tops. Cut the olives in half, place each half in a radish hole. Using wooden skewers, dip the eyes in the sauce.

Meal: Halloween hot dog

• Knacki sausages (plan one or two sausages per person)
• Hot dog buns
• 1 tablespoon of ketchup and mustard
• Small pickles
• 4 yellow onions

Heat the oil in a small saucepan. Peel and cut the onions into rings. Dip the slices in flour before cooking them in hot oil for four minutes. Toast the breads in the oven. Heat the pot of water and immerse the sausages for 5 minutes.

Customize the sausages with a knife to get fingers. Place the mustard and ketchup on the buns. Add the sausage fingers, and garnish with the chopped pickles and fried onions.

Dessert: Chewable Witch Fingers for Halloween

For this recipe you need:

• 350g flour
• 125g icing sugar
• 1 egg
• 225g softened butter
• 100g whole almonds
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
• 1 pinch of salt
• 1 teaspoon of almond extract
• 1 teaspoon of baking powder
• Raspberry jam

Start by mixing the butter with the icing sugar, the almond and vanilla extracts, as well as the egg. Add the baking powder and salt then the flour. Knead until you get a ball of dough, cover and let stand 30 minutes in the fridge. Preheat the oven to 180 °. Take the teaspoons of dough to shape sausages, crushing them lightly at the level of the knuckles. Draw the folds of the skin with the tip of a knife.

Place an almond at the end of each finger to imitate the nail by pressing lightly. Place your fingers on a baking sheet covered with baking paper, and bake for 20/25 minutes. At the exit, gently remove the almonds. Add a pinch of jam and press again on the almond. Also dip the other end of the fingers in the jam.
