The Life Q30 is not lacking in assets. Of course, you shouldn’t expect great experience or stunning design quality from it, however, it honestly fulfills its mission on all terrains and sometimes even offers more than its direct competitors. This is a good starting point at a low price in the jungle of Bluetooth headphones with active noise reduction.
Strong points
- Active noise reduction (RBA) with very good performance.
- Homogeneous and pleasant sound reproduction (with RBA, and manual equalization).
- Nice stereophonic width.
- Good comfortable feelings, totally foldable design.
- Extremely generous autonomy (40 hours with RBA!).
Weak points
- Very average sound precision.
- Significantly lower sound performance when RBA is disabled (or headset is off).
- Fairly average level of finish.

Well designed, very pleasant to use, particularly durable and equipped with an effective hands-free kit, the Elite 45h masters its subject in terms of ergonomics. For better sound performance, we can prefer the Live 500BT (or its version with noise reduction, the 650BTNC), for example, which is more melodious, but less rich in features — it is nevertheless equipped with a mini-jack input !
