The “Peppe Pizzeria” restaurant, located in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, received the prize for the best pizzeria in Europe of the year 2021.
This Saturday, July 31, the ranking of the best pizzeria in Europe for 2021 was unveiled on the specialized site 50 Top Pizza. If France lost in Euro football, this prize could comfort some of you, since the first place goes to a Parisian establishment, run by Peppe Cutraro. The latter had already been titled world pizza champion 2019-2020, reports according to West France.
Located on Place Saint-Blaise, in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, “Peppe Pizzeria” brilliantly precedes a restaurant in Vienna (Austria) and Madrid (Spain). The site 50 Top Pizza baptized the pizzeria of “Little gem” and we understand why. The establishment conquered the taste buds as well as the eyes of the jury. In addition to being served warmly in a woody and typically “Parisian” decor, you will enjoy toppings perfectly distributed over the entire surface of the pizza, reports the site. Open for a year, “Peppe Pizzeria” is already a success
Although the opening of the pizzeria is recent, it convinced by its famous calzone “Paris / Naples”. Created during containment in 2020 in collaboration with chef Denny Imbroisi. Always à la carte, it is composed of “Molise truffles, from the guanciale”, A sort of luxury Italian bacon, but also“Apulian burrata and button mushrooms ”.
