This time it really is the end. The second special episode which closed the fourth season of Attack on Titan was broadcast, revealing the long-awaited outcome of the animated series phenomenon. After ten years of broadcast, the adaptation of Hajime Isayama’s manga (34 volumes available from Pika) is now finished!

Over the past decade, fans of the series will have gone through a lot of emotions. From the beginning of the program – which followed the story of humanity against Titans – to its finale – the story of a world war – Attack on Titan is characterized by its complex narrative, constantly fueled by shocking revelations and unexpected twists.

Bringing a conclusion to a series that marked its time is not easy, as Game of Thrones can attest. But it seems that Attack on Titan has managed to satisfy a large number of fans, as evidenced by the numerous enthusiastic reactions posted by them on the networks.

Its broadcast finally completed, it is now possible to debate the place that the series will hold in the history of Japanese anime. As a reminder, Attack on Titan currently occupies second place in the ranking of the highest rated animated series of all time on AlloCiné with a spectator rating of 4.5 out of 5 (just behind Arcane).
