The Big Bang Theory: Kunal Nayyar’s “sacrifices” to play in the sitcom

Indian actor Kunal Nayyar, who plays Doctor Rajesh Koothrappali in “The Big Bang Theory”, recently spoke about the “sacrifices” made to star in the famous series.

During the twelve seasons of the very popular sitcom The Big Bang Theory, actor Kunal Nayyar lent his features to Doctor Rajesh Koothrappali, best friend ofHoward Wolowitz. Suffice to say an important chapter in the life of the Indian, who had to make a lot of sacrifices to shoot the series, as he recently revealed on the Sunday Brunch show.

“People don’t realize the sacrifice it takes to shoot an entire season”says the 40-year-old comedian. “As for me, I was living away from my family in India, I missed a lot of births, deaths and birthdays. After twelve years on show, it was time for me and all of us to spend more time with our families.”

Kunal Nayyar will be on view this Friday in the Apple TV+ series Suspicion. This remake of the Israeli show False Flag tells the story of an abduction recorded on video and leaked on the Internet. Four British citizens staying at the hotel where the kidnapping took place quickly become prime suspects. Alongside Kunal Nayyar, we find in particular Uma Thurman and Noah Emmerich.
