Once again, eight celebrities compete against each other in "Das große Promibacken" on Sat.1. These stars are baking for the Golden Cupcake victory.
From February 17th, eight celebrities will once again be baking on Sat.1 at "Das große Promibacken" (8:15 pm). The broadcaster announced on Thursday (January 28th). For the fifth time, the best celebrity baker and thus the successor to model Rebecca Mir (29), who triumphed in the previous season, is being sought.
In the new season, singer Luca Hänni (26, "110 karat"), "Let's Dance" winner Pascal Hens (40) and his former dance partner Ekaterina Leonova (33), actress Barbara Wussow (59), "Sat.1 Breakfast TV "Moderator Daniel Boschmann (40), model Franziska Knuppe (46), actress Mirja du Mont (45) and Mallorca singer Jürgen Milski (57) compete in the baking competition. Milski admits: "This format is one of the coolest TV productions I've ever participated in – and there were quite a few!"
Over six episodes, the celebrities have to convince baking professionals Bettina Schliephake-Burchardt (49) and Christian Hümbs (39) of their baking skills in three rounds each. In the first episode, the stars will present their favorite recipes before taking on the fortune cookies challenge in the technical test. Finally, a "business card" has to be designed as a motif or 3D cake.
The winner of the show can look forward to a trophy, the golden cupcake, and 10,000 euros for a good cause. As usual, Enie van de Meiklokjes (46) will moderate the show.
