Some time ago we discovered that the series Grey's Anatomy was going to deal with the coronavirus pandemic in the next season. Now, we learn even more about the evolution of this series during season 17. First, we should see the character of Cormac Hayes more often since his interpreter Richard Flood has signed a regular contract for the next one. season of the hit series. And that seems to be good news for fans of the series since it hints that something could be happening between Cormac and Meredith. We therefore hope for sentimental adventures worthy of those we are used to seeing. In any case, this announcement suggests that now everything will be possible between these two characters. Also note that Anthony Hill, who played Doctor Winston Ndugu, a former colleague of Maggie will also be present in this new season, already eagerly awaited.

We can also see one of the cast members leave the series … But, we reassure you, it will not be a question of leaving his character. Stefania Spampinato, who plays Carina DeLuca, will leave Grey's Anatomy to play regularly in the spin-off of the series, Station 19. This female character had already made a few appearances in this series and it looks like we'll see him a lot more often now.

Krista Vernoff, the producer of both series, is delighted with these huge changes. She explains through a press release: "I am very happy to add Anthony, Stefania and Richard to the Station 19 and Grey's Anatomy families. These are enormous talents that have made a big impact on our fans, cast and writers, who can't wait to write more for them. "
