Guest of TPMP, this Tuesday, August 30, on the occasion of the launch of his ninth season of Big Heads, Laurent Ruquier revealed that he wanted to hand over in 2027.
Monday August 29, Laurent Ruquier began his ninth season at the helm of Les Grosses Têtes, a cult RTL program for which he took over the animation in 2014, thus succeeding Philippe Bouvard. Guest of Touche not at my post, this Tuesday, August 30, the former strongman of the second evening parts of France 2 took the opportunity to make revelations about the date of his departure from the RTL broadcast.
“I hope to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Big Heads and I want the fifty years of the Big Heads to hand over to someoneconfided Laurent Ruquier to Cyril Hanouna very surprised by this revelation. Les Grosses Têtes started in 1977, so it will be in 2027. So I have 5 years left. I’m 60 next year. I did not say that I will stop the radio. I find that stopping Les Grosses Têtes at 65 seems good to me. If he is not sidelined before, Laurent Ruquier therefore wishes leave the animation of the Big Heads in 2027. It will then be necessary to find a successor capable of bringing together as many listeners, every day on RTL.
The Big Heads 2022: returns, newcomers and a great absentee
The start of the ninth season of Les Grosses Têtes by Laurent Ruquier was marked by the great return of an emblematic member in the person of Roselyne Bachelot. After a passage by the government, the former Minister of Culture has found her place around the table of Laurent Ruquier. Isabelle Mergault is also back in the team of members after spending the last few months writing and then shooting her latest film. Les Grosses Têtes also welcomed new members, including writers Rachel Khan and Olivier Bellamy but also the comedian Booder. Unfortunately for listeners, Christine Bravo will not be back until the start of 2023.
