When Florian Silbereisen celebrates “The big hit beach party for his birthday” on Saturday, these music colleagues will be there.

Florian Silbereisen had his 40th birthday on August 4th. This is officially celebrated with a live TV show. The broadcaster has now announced who will appear on the program “Die große Schlagerstrandparty zum Birthday” (August 14th, 8:15 pm, Das Erste / ORF). “Andrea Berg, Andy Borg, Beatrice Egli, DJ Ötzi, Ross Antony, Jürgen Drews and many other stars are on the guest list of the open-air show,” the statement said.

It is unclear whether Silbereisen’s long-time friend, superstar Helene Fischer (37, “Breathless through the night”) will be there. The two were a couple from 2008 to 2018. Just last Friday, Fischer released the new song “Vamos A Marte” together with Latino star Luis Fonsi (43, “Despacito”). The two could celebrate the TV premiere of their duet on the show, which also marks Silbereisen’s 30th TV anniversary.

Where does the broadcast take place?

Until recently, it was also unclear where the three-hour Eurovision show would take place. “By the weekend, shows were prepared and planned at five different locations in order to be able to decide at short notice where the show can best be staged under the current conditions,” says Florian Silbereisen, explaining the great effort. “We have all fought together to ensure that we can go live and with an audience in any case, while observing all the necessary measures,” he continues. They also wanted to “encourage all colleagues in front of and behind the stage” – “especially those who got into trouble through no fault of their own”, he adds.

“The big hit beach party for your birthday” will be produced on a large, open-air sand beach stage in the Gelsenkirchen amphitheater and will be broadcast live on Saturday.
