Vin Diesel reveals which actor he would like to see join the latest installment of the “Fast & Furious” saga.
While the Fast X trailer was unveiled last night, Vin Diesel is already thinking about what’s next. The actor and producer of the saga, which has already grossed $6.6 billion at the global box office, unveiled at variety which actor he would like to see join the latest installment of the franchise.
And it’s Robert Downey Jr. that Vin Diesel would like to face. The interpreter of Dominic Toretto for 22 years declares: “Without saying too much about what will happen in the future, there is a character who is the antithesis of Dom who promotes Artificial Intelligence and driverless cars. He has a philosophy that technology sets you free. For him it’s the future, and it’s in total contradiction with the mentality of Dom”.

Seeing Robert Rowney Jr. in this kind of role wouldn’t be surprising since the character description is reminiscent of Tony Stark aka Iron Man, a role the actor held for 11 years.
Since its launch, the saga has not skimped on the means to attract the biggest stars: Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, Jason Momoa or even Brie Larson, the Captain Marvel of the MCU.
For her part, Michelle Rodriguez would like to see Matt Damon join the cast of the latest film. The feature film directed by Frenchman Louis Leterrier promises a monstrous confrontation between Jason Momoa, Charlize Theron and the family of Vin Diesel.
The events of this opus are directly linked to those of Fast & Furious 5. Louis Leterrier even used archive footage from the filming of Justin Lin’s film released in 2011 in order to be able to integrate Paul Walker (Brian) into the feature film as the trailer shows.
