Nawell Madani: her fight to get pregnant

As a result, for years, Nawell Madani had to put up with the thoughts of those close to her who did not understand why she still did not have children. “When you are married, in a relationship for twenty years and you have this intrusive question saying: ‘But everything is working, what are you waiting for?’, ‘When are the kids? That would be good, that’s the real thing, it’s not the rhinestones and the sequins’, ‘When will that be'”, she confides to Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine.

But today, Nawell Madani manages to laugh at this painful past. “How do you laugh about it, Nawell?”asks Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine. “I laugh about it today, it’s easy for me, I had my daughter”, she replies. She had to wait until 2021 for her dream of motherhood to come true. Indeed, Djebril Didier Zonga and Nawell Madani became parents in September 2021 of a little girl named Lou Ezna Fatima.

A story that ends well

Her struggle to get pregnant even inspires her humor. “We wander around Instagram, the smallest reality TV girl, she gets pregnant and she tells us about her weeks of pregnancy, she gets pregnant every 6 months, I’m there in ‘but it’s only me who has a issue?”concludes the comedian.
