And in the long term, he has other ambitious ideas, like Project Windlessan adaptation of the Korean novels The Bird That Drinks Tears by Yeongdo Lee.
The title developed by the new Team Windless is notably led by design director Iain McCaig and art director Son Kwangjae, who have already presented beautiful artworks that they have drawn for this future game. a concept cinematic to give an aesthetic direction to the adventure to comebut also to a future film in pre-production and a graphic novel planned for 2023.
Entitled The Nhaga Eater, this concept teaser made on Unreal Engine 5 “underlines the mystical tone that Krafton wishes to give to these projects based on The Bird That Drinks Tears”, with “representations of the world and the characters that […] based on vibrant concept art created by Iain McCaig, the famed Hollywood artist known for his work on franchises such as Star Wars and Marvel. We must admit that all this makes us want to, but does not necessarily give us any clue as to what the Project Windless upon its release, especially in terms of gameplay.
