The bloom returns to Warzone but on certain weapons

After believing the bloom mechanic was gone for good, players have discovered that it is still on some Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific weapons.

Certain weapons in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War have been discovered to have the dreaded bloom in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific’s Battle Royale. The game has received a lot of criticism since the Vanguard integration update for the arrival of Caldera which replaced Verdansk.

Players were able to give their opinion on the new map, but we also heard a lot of criticism about the addition of the bloom mechanic (scatter random bullets) on the new weapons in Call of Duty: Vanguard.

Activision

This new update brings many weapon and attachment balancing changes.

The developers, Raven Software, quickly pulled the mechanic for Warzone, but content creator TrueGameData discovered that some Black Ops Cold War weapons still bloom.

According to its latest video posted on January 11, TrueGameData was testing weapons from Warzone Pacific Season 1 to see if any of them still bloomed as the developers were supposed to remove the mechanic from the game.

But big surprise, two Black Ops Cold War weapons still suffer from the bloom:

This is very disappointing news given that the devs had specified that the mechanic was removed from the game. Luckily, these weapons aren’t clearly the most used in battle royale right now, although that almost dooms them from the current meta if things don’t change quickly.

We hope Raven Software can keep its word by removing bloom from truly all weapons in Warzone Pacific.
