The book by Boba Fett: Hard hit for Mando – can Pedro Pascal be happy now?

The appearance of Din Djarin, which was already announced in episode 4 of “The Book of Boba Fett”, turned out to be a genuine “The Mandalorian” episode in the 5th episode, which sets the course for numerous upcoming events.

What is certain is that we will see Mando again alongside Boba and Fennec in the finale of the Disney+ series at the latest, even if he flies to Grogu in Episode 6. Then we could finally see Mando the way actor Pedro Pascal always wanted – without a helmet!

It’s a well-known fact that Pascal would have liked to have appeared more helmet-free in The Mandalorian, but apart from two short scenes he remained hooded – that’s the way! The rules of the Mandalorian did not allow Din Djarin to remove his helmet, but past violations of the rules now have serious consequences for Mando: he is no longer a Mandalorian!

The Armorer stripped him of that title when Mando admitted he didn’t always wear his helmet. Only on Mandalore, and thus probably in “The Mandalorian” season 3, will he have the opportunity to wash himself away from his mistakes.

But until then, the Mandalorian rules no longer apply to Din, so there’s no reason to wear the helmet all the time. For Pedro Pascal, this means that he will have to be on the set much more often in the future (before his role could also be played by stunt doubles), but his face will also be much better known than it has been since “Game of Thrones”. .

It’s unlikely that the main character of a series titled “The Mandalorian” will not be a Mandalorian, so Din is sure to reclaim his title in Season 3, but Pedro Pascal is enjoying some fresh air, at least for a short time.
