The Boys: mocked by the series, the director of Justice League responds with humor

Director Zack Snyder (“Batman v. Superman”) responded with humor to a pike directed at him by the upcoming season of “The Boys.”

Mocked by the next season of The Boys, Zack Snyder has demonstrated all his sense of humor. The American director has indeed commented this weekend on a publication of the Twitter account Vought International (named after the fictitious company in the super-heroic series), revealing the trailer for a film entitled Dawn of the Seven (“Dawn of the Seven”, in French), accompanied by the hashtag #ReleasetheBourkeCut.

An obvious reference to movement #ReleasetheSnyderCut initiated by fans of the DC Comics universe, having allowed Zack Snyder to deliver a new editing of his film Justice League, in line with his original vision of the project (the film had been turned over and reassembled by Joss Whedon following his departure from project due to family bereavement).

On Twitter, the filmmaker – recent winner of the People’s Oscar – shared the fake trailer, commenting not without humour: “Congratulations to director Bourke. I can’t wait to see the result of your vision.” Recall that for the uninitiated, Adam Bourke is a fictional commissioned director, responsible for directing the propaganda feature films of the superhero team of the Seven.

The third season of The Boys will be broadcast from June 3, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
