The wait is over! One of the craziest scenes that has ever aired on television is now available on Prime Video since this Friday, June 24. We’re obviously talking about the infamous large-scale orgy of Amazon’s superhero series. Because qui says The Boys says cheeky audacity and crazy scenes never seen on TV! And since the start of season 3, currently being broadcast, viewers have been served. A tiny hero who sneezes inside a colleague’s genitals, literally causing the latter to explode, a hand-to-hand fight with dildos and now, an orgy scene on a disproportionate scale… Definitely The Boys does not hesitate to try everything!
The infamous Season 3 episode 6, titled “Herogasm” and touted as “not suitable for any audience,” is an iconic passage from the original comics that many fans have been waiting for. In a recent interview with SensaCine, the creator of the show, Eric Kripke, reveals the first request made by fans of the comics while the series was still in development:The first comment that came out of their mouths was daring us to do “Herogasm”. Challenge accepted ! We did things in a very realistic way, it’s very explicit.”
In the print version, the scene in question features the members of the Seven leaving Earth to fight an alien threat. At least that’s what they lead the public to believe, because the team is actually heading to a deserted beach resort for a weekend full of drugs and sex: a Vought-sponsored getaway! If the scene shown on the screen differs somewhat from the original work, “Herogasm” nevertheless meets the expectations of the public and is quite capable of shocking it… and getting banned in several countries!
“Episode 6 is illegal in about four countries,” revealed the amused Eric Kripke. “I found out that you had to cut out large parts to be allowed to play.He didn’t mention which countries it was, though.
BEYOND THE ORGY
Also speaking to SensaCine, Jensen Ackles, assured that the episode carried great emotional weight, however, affecting the lives of the characters – including his Soldier Boy. “Everything starts to get out of control from the sixth episode,” the actor said. Eric Kripke adds: “We’re always trying to see how we can deepen the characters and how we can get them to surprise people.” The goal was also to go further with “Herogasm”: “We also wanted it to have unexpected twists and big reveals because we didn’t want it to be just an Episode X. We wanted it to‘it may be said [de l’épisode] : ‘Oh wow, this is an event for several reasons.”
“Herogasm” premiered June 24 on Amazon Prime Video. There are only two chapters left to complete season 3 and we can only imagine what they may well have in store for us… The sequel to the next episode scheduled for July 1, before the grand finale a week later which, we don’t no doubt, can only leave us speechless!
