Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a busy man. This also explains why the Negan actor from “The Walking Dead” hasn’t previously been seen in the Amazon Prime Video series “The Boys”, despite it being directed by his friend and former “Supernatural” showrunner Eric Kripke . The will was there, only the time was missing.
Now is finally the right opportunity, because “The Walking Dead” has been filmed and Morgan finally has room for new projects – for now, because the TWD spin-off “Dead City” is already casting its shadow.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan will probably not play a leading role in season 4 of “The Boys”, but he will play a recurring guest role. It remains a secret whether he will have scenes together with his “Supernatural” son Jensen Ackles.
