The Budokai Tenkaichi series returns with Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

On the occasion of the Game Awards, Bandai Namco Europe confirmed its announcement from last March. In fact, the series Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi will make its return after more than 15 years. The new opus is titled Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero and is expected to release on PC via Steam as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

The fighting game will offer numerous playable characters – there are 16 at the moment – each of which will have their own abilities, transformations and techniques. Players will be able to engage in intense battles during which the arenas around them react to the unleashed power and disintegrate as they go.

Developed by Spike Chunsoft, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero remains faithful to its original series while making numerous improvements, notably thanks to the use of Unreal Engine 5. An engine which allows developers to add new features to its title and to offer, according to them, the he most immersive experience in the series.
