General Motors has revealed some details about its future Cadillac Lyriq electric SUV.

It will be the very first electric vehicle signed Cadillac.

GM gives us a glimpse of its Cadillac Lyriq

While General Motors is currently considering a return to the European market, the American group gives some additional details about the future Cadillac Lyriq. It will be a new 100% electric SUV of course, the first deliveries of which are scheduled for this fall, with an AWD version expected to follow next year.

The first 100% electric vehicle badged Cadillac will be offered at a price of 62,990 dollars, in rear-wheel drive version, with a 340 hp engine on board. The version with dual motorization and all-wheel drive will arrive on the market a few months later, and displayed at 64,990 dollars.

The manufacturer promises a range of around 500 km (for the RWD version), thanks to a 100 kWh battery. This can be recharged at 190 KW, to recover approximately 120 km in 10 minutes.

On board, there will be a large 33″ central screen, which will have an infotainment system that will give pride of place to Google and its various services. Cadillac also promises active noise cancellation technology, via the audio system, in order to ensure silence on board.
