The Caisse d’Epargne Ile-de-France dedicates a financing envelope of 1 MdE to environmental projects on its territory


(Boursier.com) — A local bank, rooted in its territory and 100% regional, Caisse d’Epargne Ile-de-France is taking action in the face of the climate emergency by supporting all of its customers in the energy transition and environmental.
Wishing to go beyond its role as funder, yesterday it organized the 1st edition of “Cap Green”, a series of regular meetings intended to raise awareness and inform its customers, partners and employees of the many challenges of this environmental transition.

This 1st meeting was an opportunity for the Ile-de-France bank to announce the expansion of its financing offer with the launch of the Green loan intended to finance the green investments of its customers, but also with the development of partnerships with the ADEME Ile-de-France to provide its customers with expertise and advice for their environmental transition. A first experiment is starting with Bpifrance on decarbonization diagnostics.
Finally, Caisse d’Epargne Ile-de-France is committed to dedicating a financing envelope of 1 billion euros to environmental projects carried out on its territory in 2023-2024.
