The Callisto Protocol breaks away from the PUBG universe

The Callisto Protocol has everything of a promising game. The title is developed by Striking Distance Studiosfounded by Glen Schofield, creator of dead space, and it will take place in 2320 on a dead moon of Jupiter. An enticing survival and horror game, especially as it must take place in the universe of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Or at least he had to.

Because yes, Glen Schofield spoke on social networks to announce that The Callisto Protocol will no longer take place in the universe of PUBG. The title now has its own universe, fans will be entitled to small surprises, but the game is now to be considered as a work in its own right. This undoubtedly leaves more freedom to creators.

The Callisto Protocol is therefore a little more precise, it makes the front page of Game Informer this month so we should hear more about it soon. It would be better because the title is expected in 2022 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. You can find derivative products PUBG on Amazon.
